The method comprises the steps of setting a first graphic layer and a second graphic layer, wherein the first graphic layer is displayed in the front and blocks the second graphic layer; when playing pictures continuously, placing a currently played picture on the first graphic layer, and placing a next picture on the second graphic layer; and when starting to switch the currently played picture to the next picture, switching a mode for displaying the first graphic layer in the front to a mode for displaying the second graphic layer in the front in a manner of holing animation, wherein the holing animation comprises the processes that a plurality of transparent holing regions are displayed on the first graphic layer and changed from small to big at the same time until all the holing regions are combined into one region and enable the second graphic layer to be completely displayed. The apparatus comprises a first setting module, a second setting module and a dynamic switching module.
