The hood fixedly sleeves the mounting shaft at the right end of the transmission sleeve. The side surface, which faces the transmission sleeve, of the hood is provided with hood teeth. The side surface, which faces the hood, of a right fluted disc of the transmission sleeve is provided with right teeth which match the hood teeth. When the transmission sleeve rotates, the transmission sleeve is pushed to move along the axial direction because of matching between the hood teeth and the right teeth. The micro circuit breaker and the operating method thereof have advantages of automatically satisfying requirements for automatic switching-on and automatic switching-off without manual switching, reducing operation complexity and reducing working strength of personnel.
