Abstract

The invention discloses a dynamic data driven modeling and simulation method for crowd evacuation and transportation behaviors in a sudden-onset disaster. According to the method, real-time disaster information is acquired by analyzing high resolution remote sensing images, a simulation model of a landslide and other natural disasters is used for outputting virtual data about disaster evolution, a crowd simulation platform describes individual behaviors on a disaster circumstance, and then real-time online modeling of the landslide disaster is achieved. A decision is made for the individual behaviors according to environment information by describing individuals through several different attributes and defining several different environment description attributes. Experiments prove that through the method, better crowd evacuation efficiency and availability are achieved in an actual rescue activity in the landslide and other natural disasters.
