Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a cell switching method, a terminal and core network equipment. The cell switching method comprises the following steps: enabling the terminal to join in current calling in a broadband service cell, wherein the terminal registers both in the broadband service cell and a narrowband service cell; acquiring information of a service channel of the current calling in a target narrowband cell by the terminal; and switching the terminal to the target narrowband cell from the wideband service cell to continue the current calling according to the acquired information of the service channel. By adopting the embodiment of the invention, switching between the wideband cell to the narrowband cell can be achieved, and call drop can be avoided.
