Abstract

The invention provides an organization method and device for route filtering rules, which are applied to a router. The method comprises the following steps: reading pre-configured filtering rules stored in a database in sequence; finding nodes, which are matched with the filtering rules of corresponding network segments, on a preset binary tree based on network segments corresponding to the read filtering rules, wherein each node on the binary tree corresponds to one network segment; incrementally adding the read filtering rules to adding nodes. By adopting the technical scheme, the matching efficiency can be increased greatly under the condition that a large number of route filtering rules are configured on the router and the configuration is changed frequently.
