Compared with the prior art, the method and the equipment provided by the invention have the advantages that the data updating log which is sent from the active database to the standby database and includes the corresponding complete data pages and the data updating information is received; the data updating log is replayed; the complete data page in the data updating log and the data updating information are used for forming a new data page; an old data page in the standby database is covered; the problems that during the data synchronization of the active and standby databases, the updating log sent from the active database to the standby database can be combined for performing changing operation only after the standby database firstly reads the data page, so that the data page change of the standby database consumes long time are solved; the performance of the active and standby databases is improved; the standby database changing speed is accelerated.
