Abstract

A hydrodynamic torque coupling device characterized by: an impeller; a housing having a first engagement surface (22i); a damper assembly (16); a turbine piston (56) including a drive member (56) having a second engagement surface 32); and a clutch plate (25) having a clutch plate engagement between first and second clutch plate engagement surfaces and axially moveable relative to at least one of said first and second clutch plate engagement surfaces surface.
