The algorithm comprises the steps of receiving a news recommendation application of a target user, estimating a first grade of unread basic news articles by the target user, sorting the unread basic news articles according to the first grade, and selecting a preset number of the unread basic news articles as a first-level recommendation list; calculating the similarity between the unread basic news articles and newly-introduced news articles in the first-level recommendation list, and establishingthe corresponding relationship of the unread basic news articles and the newly-introduced news articles in the first-level recommendation list; constructing a candidate recommendation list accordingto the first-level recommendation list and the corresponding relationship; calculating a second grade of each element in the candidate recommendation list, generating a second-level recommendation list according to the second grade, and sending the second-level recommendation list to the target user.
