Abstract

The invention discloses a pretreatment method for improving the natural aging stability of a 6000 series aluminum alloy material. The pretreatment method comprises the following steps that (1) solid solution quenching treatment is carried out, wherein solid solution is carried out on the 6000 series aluminum alloy material for 10-50 minutes, the solid solution temperature is 500-560 DEG C, and then cooling is carried out; (2) low-temperature pre-aging treatment is carried out within 24 hours, wherein the temperature is controlled to be is 50-70 DEG C, and heat preservation is carried out for 0-72 hours; (3) pre-stretching deformation is carried out in 24 hours, wherein the deformation amount is 2-5%; and (4) high-temperature pre-aging treatment is carried out in 168 hours, wherein the temperature is controlled to be 100-160 DEG C, and heat preservation is carried out for 5-30 minutes. According to the pretreatment method for improving the natural aging stability of the 6000 series aluminum alloy material, the natural aging stability and the baking hardening performance of an aluminum plate can be obviously improved, and a satisfactory baking hardening effect can be achieved on an existing paint baking equipment line of an automobile factory.
