Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a cell reselection method and electronic equipment. The cell reselection method comprises the steps of: acquiring a reselection parameter value of a first serving cell under the condition that the electronic equipment resides in the first serving cell, wherein the first serving cell is a serving cell of a first communication system associated with a trafficline; determining whether the electronic equipment meets a preset different system reselection rule or not according to the reselection parameter value; under the condition that the electronic equipment meets the different system reselection rule, determining whether a first parameter value representing the signal intensity of the first serving cell meets a first preset condition or not; under the condition that the first parameter value meets the first preset condition, controlling the electronic equipment to reside in the first serving cell; and controlling the electronic equipment to perform different system cell reselection under the condition that the first parameter value does not meet the first predetermined condition. By utilizing the cell reselection method of the invention, theproblem that the electronic equipment frequently performs ping-pong reselection between two communication systems can be solved.
