A fitted top bed sheet and a method of making said sheet from a rectangular blank of sheet material are disclosed. The foot end of the sheet is formed into a pocket without having to cut any material by sewing a portion of the left side flap to the left side of the foot end and by sewing a portion of the right side flap to the right side of the foot end and tucking the remainder of the foot end under the mattress. Said fitted bed sheet facilitates making a bed and produces a neat appearance

FIELD OF THE INVENTION[0001]The present invention relates to the field of bed sheets. More particularly, this invention relates to a fitted top sheet that is specially designed and sewn so that the foot end of the sheet fits snugly over the foot of the mattress so that a neat appearance is produced without the need for the user to tuck and fold the corners at the foot end of the bed.
