Abstract

The invention discloses a cultivation method for soft-seed pomegranate. The cultivation method comprises the following steps: (1) selecting land: selecting the sloping fields with the high and dry terrain, deep soil layer, good irrigation and drainage and fertile soil; (2) grafting: cutting mother branches as cutting wood from the last ten-day of February to the first ten-day of March, operating in a flow line, grafting while cutting the stems, and irrigating in time after the grafting; (3) transplanting: preparing the soil before 2-3 months of finishing the transplanting, digging planting holes, applying an organic fertilizer to each hole, applying rooting water enough after the transplanting, and keeping the humidity of the soil; (4) topdressing: applying the fertilizer for three times every year; and (5) managing: keeping the loosened soil, ploughing for one time in autumn, wherein the depth is 40 cm, removing the excess branches, preventing the flower drop and fruit drop, and preventing the insect disease. The provided cultivation method for the soft-seed pomegranate has the characteristics of simple operation, convenient management, and lower cost. The quality of the produced soft-seed pomegranate is better, and the yield is improved.
