Waterproof gas detector

Abstract

The present application discloses a gas detector with waterproof capability, comprising: a detector body, the detector body comprising a mounting seat in which a sensing element is arranged, the mounting seat having an inlet for the gas to be detected, the inlet defining an axial direction; and a cover, the cover having a circumferential wall, the circumferential wall defining an enclosed space inside the cover, the enclosed space having a proximal end and a distal end in the axial direction, the cover being attached to the mounting seat so that the proximal end of the enclosed space is located near the inlet, wherein a plurality of shielding elements are attached to the circumferential wall, each of the plurality of shielding elements being configured to form a channel for water to flow through between the outside of the cover and the enclosed space and extending toward the distal end.
