A kind of preparation method of glufosinate ammonium

Abstract

The present application relates to a method for preparing glufosinate-ammonium. Specifically, it relates to a method for preparing glufosinate-ammonium or its salt, enantiomer or a mixture of enantiomers in any ratio represented by formula (I), comprising the following steps: hydrolyzing the compound of formula (IV) to obtain the compound of formula (I). The method of the present application can avoid or reduce the halogenated hydrocarbon by-product in the Michaelis-Arbuzov reaction due to the difference in reaction mechanism, prevent the halogenated hydrocarbon by-product from damaging the ozone in the atmosphere, and accordingly, also save the separation, purification and collection of the above-mentioned by-products and engineering input, and also avoid the potential environmental and safety risks brought by the above-mentioned by-products.
