Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to an airbag apparatus for a vehicle, and more particularly, to an airbag apparatus for a vehicle that restrains and protects a passenger by being inflated and deployed when a collision occurs in the vehicle. Background Art

[0002] The vehicle airbag device is a safety device for protecting passengers by injecting gas into the airbag according to a signal of an impact detection sensor and rapidly inflating the airbag when a vehicle collides.

[0003] Such an airbag device is installed in a steering wheel, an instrument panel, a seat, a side wall, etc. provided in a vehicle, and protects an occupant by inflating toward the front or side of the occupant when the vehicle collides.

[0004] That is, the vehicle may be provided with front airbags that deploy in front of the driver's seat and the passenger seat, curtain airbags and side airbags that deploy from the passenger's side chamber to protect the passenger, and knee airbags for protecting the passenger's knees, and the like.

[0005] Recently, autonomous vehicles that can drive themselves without the need for a driver are being developed.

[0006] The autonomous vehicle detects the condition of each device provided in the vehicle and the condition around the vehicle by using a high-tech sensor for recognizing things around the vehicle and a high-performance image processing device, and travels while controlling the operation of each device provided in the vehicle according to the detection results.

[0007] High-tech sensors can measure the distance between things such as humans, and can detect danger and help the vehicle see all areas without blind spots. In addition, image processing equipment can capture the vehicle's surroundings through several cameras, and can analyze its images and help the vehicle travel safely.

[0008] For example, an autonomous vehicle may have a LiDAR device, a sonic device, a 3D camera, a radar device, etc. installed therein.

[0009] Since the autonomous vehicle configured as described above does not require a driver to drive, all seats including the driver's seat can be freely rotated, and the angle of the backrest can be adjusted to be horizontal by a tilt operation.

[0010] Passengers can adjust the angle of the backrest in various ways, and the seats can be swiveled and passenger-facing meetings can be held in the rear seat.

[0011] Therefore, it is impossible to apply a general airbag device designed with reference to the posture of a passenger sitting on a seat facing the front of the host vehicle.

[0012] Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 presented below disclose passenger protection system configurations for vehicles.

[0013] Since passengers riding in the autonomous vehicle do not directly drive, they can attend meetings by rotating the seat in a horizontal direction or rest by tilting the backrest backward while traveling to their destination.

[0014] Since the seat and backrest can be freely rotated in an autonomous vehicle, the orientation and posture of the passengers can be changed in various ways.

[0015] Therefore, there is a need for airbag technology that can safely protect passengers regardless of the direction and posture of the passengers when a vehicle crashes.

[0016] In particular, in the event of a frontal collision between an autonomous vehicle and a conventional vehicle in which an occupant has rotated a backrest rearward, the front airbag device is deployed toward the front of the occupant to protect the occupant.

[0017] However, after the occupant collides with the front airbag, the occupant is rebounded by the airbag and moves backward again, colliding with other parts of the vehicle, such as the seat back or the headrest.

[0018] Therefore, the airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to the related art may cause harm to an occupant who is rebounded by the airbag.

[0019] Likewise, when the occupant rotates the seatback rearward, the space between the front airbag device and the occupant increases, which may result in the front airbag device alone being unable to effectively restrain and protect the occupant.

[0020] Therefore, it is necessary to develop a technology that can safely protect an occupant by compensating for an occupant who is rebounded after colliding with an airbag, especially a space between an occupant whose seatback is rotating backward and a front airbag device.

[0025] Another object of the present invention is to provide an airbag device for a vehicle, which can compensate for the space between an occupant and a front airbag device to safely protect the occupant.

[0026] Still another object of the present invention is to provide an airbag apparatus for a vehicle that can safely restrain and protect an occupant by inflating and deploying in front of the occupant, along both sides of the occupant, and behind the occupant.

[0027] Solution to the problem

[0028] To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, an airbag device for a vehicle according to the present invention includes: a shell installed in a seat back; an inflator configured to generate gas when ignited by a detection signal of an impact detection sensor in the event of a vehicle collision; and an airbag cushion accommodated in the shell in a rolled or folded state to receive the gas generated from the inflator when the vehicle collides, and then be inflated and deployed to surround the upper body and head of an occupant, wherein the airbag cushion compensates for the distance between the occupant and the seat back when the vehicle collides and is inflated and deployed from the seat back toward the rear surface of the occupant to prevent the occupant who is rebounded by the front airbag from being injured due to the collision with the seat back.

[0029] Advantageous Effects of the Invention

[0030] As described above, according to the airbag device for a vehicle of the present invention, the occupant can be safely protected by compensating the space between the occupant and the front airbag device to reduce the space when the vehicle collides.

[0031] In addition, according to the present invention, the impact generated when an occupant is rebounded by the front airbag inflated and deployed in front of the occupant and collides with a seat can be effectively absorbed to safely protect the occupant.

[0032] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the top surface and both sides of the occupant's head may be confined by the upper chamber, which is inflated around the occupant's head, to safely protect the occupant. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0040] Hereinafter, an airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0041] Although the operation is explained using an airbag system configuration suitable for an autonomous vehicle in an automatic driving mode in this embodiment, it should be noted that the present invention is not limited to this and can also be used in a manual driving mode when the driver is operating the vehicle. The present invention can also be used in a conventional vehicle with an existing airbag cushion.

[0042] In this embodiment, the configuration installed in the backrest of the passenger seat of a conventional vehicle is explained, however, it should be understood that the present invention can be applied not only to a driver's seat but also to a rear seat.

[0043] Hereinafter, the direction from the driver's seat to the front of the vehicle is referred to as "forward", and the direction from the driver's seat to the rear of the vehicle is referred to as "rearward". Together with these terms, terms indicating directions such as "left side", "right side", "upward direction" and "downward direction" are defined to indicate corresponding directions relative to the above-mentioned forward direction and rearward direction.

[0044] [First embodiment]

[0045] Figure 1 is a perspective view of an airbag device for a vehicle according to a first embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 yes Figure 1 Exploded view of the airbag cushion shown in Figures 3 to 5 They are shown respectively Figure 1 A perspective view, a front view, and a side view showing a state where the airbag cushion is inflated and deployed are shown.

[0046] like Figure 1 As shown, an airbag device 10 for a vehicle according to the present invention is installed in a seat of the vehicle and is inflated and deployed toward the rear surface of an occupant who is rebounded after a collision with a front airbag.

[0047] Accordingly, according to the present invention, after colliding with the front airbag, the occupant who is rebounded can be protected from being injured due to the collision with the vehicle interior device, such as the backrest 11 of the seat.

[0048] In addition, according to the present invention, the space between the front airbag and the occupant can be reduced to compensate for the state in which the occupant rotates the backrest backward, effectively restraining the occupant and safely protecting the occupant.

[0049] In detail, Figure 1 As shown, an airbag device 10 for a vehicle according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a housing 20 installed in a seat back 11; an inflator 30 configured to generate gas when ignited by a detection signal of an impact detection sensor in the event of a vehicle collision; and an airbag cushion 40 accommodated in the housing 20 in a rolled or folded state to receive the gas generated from the inflator 30 and to be inflated and deployed to surround the upper body and head of the occupant.

[0050] The housing 20 may have a substantially rectangular prism shape and be accommodated at an upper end of the inner space of the backrest 11 .

[0051] A tangent line may be defined at the front surface of the seatback 11 so that the airbag cushion 40 is inflated and deployed toward the occupant.

[0052] According to the detection signal of the impact detection sensor installed in the vehicle, the inflator 30 may be accommodated in the rear inner space of the housing 20 to generate the gas upon ignition.

[0053] like Figures 2 to 5 As shown, the airbag cushion 40 may include a main chamber 50 and an upper chamber 60, wherein the main chamber is inflated and deployed toward the rear surface of the neck and the upper body of the occupant, and the upper chamber is inflated and deployed toward the rear surface of the occupant's head, so that the occupant's head and upper body are surrounded and protected.

[0054] Likewise, the airbag cushion 40 may further include a pair of side chambers 70 that are inflated and deployed toward both sides of the occupant's upper body to prevent the occupant from moving laterally.

[0055] Accordingly, a space that completely accommodates the upper body of the occupant including the head, neck, and back may be defined inside the inflated and deployed airbag cushion 40 .

[0056] The airbag cushion 40 may include an inner panel 41 that contacts the occupant during inflation and deployment and an outer panel 42 that contacts an opposite side of the inner panel 41 , particularly the seatback 11 .

[0057] like Figure 2 As shown, the inner panel 41 and the outer panel 42 may be configured as a single interconnected panel and have a bag-like shape by sewing or bonding along edges or integrally weaving while overlapping each other.

[0058] To this end, the inner plate 41 and the outer plate 42 may have symmetrical shapes.

[0059] However, in the area of the main chamber 50, the outer panel 42 may have a length that is longer than the inner panel 41 in at least one of the horizontal or vertical dimensions so that the outer panel 42 surrounds the back of the occupant when the main chamber 50 is inflated and deployed.

[0060] The main chamber 50 may have a vertical length corresponding to the neck and back of the occupant. That is, the main chamber 50 may be inflated and expanded at the neck and back of the occupant to protect the occupant by minimizing the impact applied to the cervical vertebra and spine of the occupant.

[0061] The present invention is not limited thereto, and the main chamber may be modified to vertically extend the length to correspond not only to the neck and back of the occupant but also to the waist of the occupant as needed.

[0062] The upper chamber 60 may be connected to the upper end of the main chamber 50 to receive the gas through the main chamber 50 being inflated and deployed.

[0063] That is, the upper chamber 60 may be inflated and expanded between the occupant's head and the headrest 12 installed at the upper end of the seatback 11 to absorb impact applied when the occupant's head collides with the headrest 12 .

[0064] In the area of the upper chamber 60 , the outer panel 42 may have a length longer than the inner panel 41 in at least one of the horizontal or vertical dimensions, so that when the upper chamber 60 is deployed, the outer panel 42 surrounds the occupant's head.

[0065] The pair of side chambers 70 may be respectively connected to both sides of the main chamber 50 to receive the gas through the main chamber 50 being inflated and deployed.

[0066] That is, the pair of side chambers 70 may be inflated and deployed respectively outside the shoulders and upper limbs of the occupant to restrict and protect the shoulders and upper limbs of the occupant.

[0067] In the region of the pair of side chambers 70 , the outer panel 42 may have a length longer than a horizontal length of the inner panel 41 , so that when the pair of side chambers 70 are deployed, the outer panel 42 surrounds the shoulders and upper limbs of the occupant.

[0068] Therefore, when viewed from above, the main chamber 50 and the pair of side chambers 70 may be inflated and expanded inwardly in a substantially semicircular or arc shape so that the rear surface and the side surface of the occupant's upper body are completely surrounded.

[0069] Also, a plurality of tethers (not shown) that restrict a deployment shape of each of the chambers 50 to 70 provided in the airbag cushion 40 may be installed between the inner panel 41 and the outer panel 42 .

[0070] For example, one or more tethers defining the expanded shape of the upper chamber 60 may be mounted inside or outside the upper chamber 60 so that the upper chamber 60 is inflated and expanded while rotating forward relative to its lower end.

[0071] To this end, both ends of the tether may be connected to upper ends of the main chamber 50 and the upper chamber 60 .

[0072] Likewise, one or more tethers defining the expanded shape of each side chamber 70 may be mounted inside or outside the pair of side chambers 70 so that each side chamber 70 is inflated and expanded while being rotated toward the occupant relative to the portion of the side chamber 70 connected to the main chamber 50 .

[0073] Both ends of the tether may be connected to outer ends of the main chamber 50 and the side chamber 70 .

[0074] The present invention is not limited thereto, and the number of tethers, the mounting locations, lengths, widths, and other parameters of the tethers may vary.

[0075] Additionally, the present invention can provide different horizontal and vertical lengths for the inner and outer panels, and, in addition to applying tethers, can also vary the configuration to constrain the deployed shape of each chamber by forming various seam patterns along the edges and interior of each chamber.

[0076] As described above, according to the present invention, by compensating the space between the occupant and the front airbag device and reducing the space when the vehicle collides, the occupant can be safely protected.

[0077] In addition, according to the present invention, the impact generated when the occupant is rebounded by the front airbag inflated and deployed in front of the occupant and collides with a seat can be effectively absorbed to safely protect the occupant.

[0078] Next, we will refer to Figure 6A method of operating the airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.

[0079] Figure 6 : is an operation state diagram showing an operation state of an airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

[0080] First, based on Figure 2 In the deployed state shown in FIG. 1 , the airbag cushion 40 is manufactured into a bag shape by sewing edges and the inner panel 41 and the outer panel 42 are arranged to overlap each other.

[0081] The manufactured airbag cushion 40 may be accommodated in the housing 20 in a folded state using various rolling or folding methods to minimize the volume, and may be mounted to the seat back 11 , for example, on an upper front surface of the seat back 11 .

[0082] In the event of a collision during vehicle operation, the airbag cushion 40 may be inflated and deployed downward from the cover of the seatback 11 by receiving the gas from the inflator 30 .

[0083] That is, the main chamber 50 can be inflated and expanded in front of the backrest 11 , and each of the upper chamber 60 and the pair of side chambers 70 receives the gas through the main chamber 50 and is inflated and expanded at the top and both sides of the main chamber 50 .

[0084] Here, the upper chamber 60 and the pair of side chambers 70 are rotated downward and inward toward the occupant surrounding the main chamber 50 , completely surrounding and confining the occupant.

[0085] In this way, each of the chambers 50 to 70 provided in the airbag cushion 40 may be inflated and deployed to completely surround and restrict the upper body and head of the occupant, thereby preventing the occupant from lateral movement and ensuring safety.

[0086] In the case of a frontal collision, the passenger moves toward the vehicle. Therefore, after the passenger is first protected by the frontal airbag 80 inflated and deployed in the front, the passenger may rebound backwards due to the pressure of the frontal airbag 80.

[0087] At this time, since the airbag cushion 40 is inflated and deployed between the occupant and the seatback 11 and the headrest 12 , the space between the occupant and the seatback 11 and the headrest 12 can be compensated and reduced, thereby minimizing the impact applied to the rebounding occupant.

[0088] In other words, according to the present invention, when the occupant collides with the backrest in a state where the backrest is rotated backward, the airbag cushion can be used to compensate for the space between the occupant and the backrest, minimizing the impact applied when the occupant collides with the backrest.

[0089] As described above, according to the present invention, by compensating the space between the occupant and the front airbag device and reducing the space when the vehicle collides, the occupant can be safely protected.

[0090] In addition, according to the present invention, the impact generated when the occupant is rebounded by the front airbag inflated and deployed in front of the occupant and collides with a seat can be effectively absorbed to safely protect the occupant.

[0091] [Second embodiment]

[0092] Figure 7 is an exploded view of an airbag cushion suitable for an airbag device for a vehicle according to a second embodiment of the present invention;

[0093] Figures 8 to 10 They are shown respectively Figure 7 A perspective view, a front view, and a side view showing a state where the airbag cushion is inflated and deployed are shown.

[0094] Except for the shape of the airbag cushion 40, the configuration of the airbag device 10 for a vehicle according to the present invention is similar to that of the reference Figure 1 The airbag devices of the vehicles are the same.

[0095] More specifically, if Figures 7 to 10 As shown, the airbag cushion 40 may also include a main chamber 50, an upper chamber 60, and a pair of side chambers 70, wherein the main chamber is inflated and expanded toward the rear surface of the neck and upper body of the occupant, the upper chamber is inflated and expanded toward the rear surface of the head of the occupant so that the head and upper body of the occupant are surrounded and protected, and the pair of side chambers are inflated and expanded from both sides of the main chamber 50 toward both side surfaces of the upper body of the occupant to prevent the occupant from moving laterally.

[0096] Accordingly, a space that completely accommodates the upper body of the occupant including the head, neck, and back may be defined inside the inflated and deployed airbag cushion 40 .

[0097] In this embodiment, the upper chamber 60 may extend to surround the top surface and both side surfaces of the occupant's head to limit the lateral movement of the occupant's head or absorb the impact applied when the occupant's head collides with the headrest 12 when moving backward.

[0098] That is, the upper chamber 60 may include a rear surface chamber 61 corresponding to the rear surface of the occupant's head, a top surface chamber 62 surrounding the top surface of the occupant's head, and a pair of side surface chambers 63 surrounding both side surfaces of the head.

[0099] The rear chamber 61 may have various shapes, such as a substantially polygonal, circular, or elliptical cross-section, to correspond to the rear surface of the occupant's head.

[0100] The upper chamber 62 may extend from the upper end of the rear surface chamber 61 and be inflated and expanded generally forward.

[0101] Here, the upper chamber 62 may be divided into a plurality of chambers by inflating and expanding the chamber wall along the top surface of the occupant's head. Figure 7 As shown, one or more parallel chamber walls will be arranged in the transverse direction.

[0102] Thus, during initial deployment, the upper chamber 62 may tilt upward and forward to inflate from the upper end of the rear surface of the occupant's head toward the top of the occupant's head, and then tilt downward to inflate from the top of the head toward the forehead.

[0103] Additionally, one or more tethers (not shown) may be disposed within or outside the upper chamber 62 to constrain the expanded shape of the upper chamber 62 .

[0104] For example, the tether member may have two ends connected to the front and rear ends of the upper chamber 62, respectively, to ensure that the cross-section of the upper chamber 62 is convex when viewed from one side.

[0105] The upper chamber 62 that is inflated and deployed forward may have different lengths to surround the top surface and forehead of the occupant's head, or a portion of the front end of the face.

[0106] The pair of side surface chambers 63 may respectively extend from both ends of the rear surface chamber 61 and be inflated and expanded substantially forward.

[0107] Here, each side surface chamber 63 can be divided into a plurality of chambers by chamber walls that are inflated and expanded along both side surfaces of the occupant's head. Figure 7 As shown, one or more parallel chamber walls will be arranged in the transverse direction.

[0108] Thus, during initial deployment, the side surface chamber 63 can be inflated while tilting forward and outward from both ends of the rear surface of the occupant's head toward the occupant's ears, and the side surface chamber can be inflated while tilting forward and inward from the occupant's ears toward the front of the occupant's face.

[0109] Additionally, one or more tether members (not shown) may be disposed within or outside the side surface chamber 63 to constrain the expanded shape of the side surface chamber 63 .

[0110] For example, the tether member may be connected at both ends to the front and rear ends of the side surface chamber 63, respectively, to ensure that the cross-section of the side surface chamber 63 is convex, such as a "()" shape, when viewed from above.

[0111] The side chambers 62 that are inflated and deployed forward may have different lengths to surround both side surfaces of the occupant's head and a portion of both ends of the face.

[0112] The pair of side chambers 70 may be respectively connected to both sides of the main chamber 50 to receive the gas through the main chamber 50 being inflated and deployed.

[0113] That is, the pair of side chambers 70 may be inflated and deployed respectively outside the shoulders and upper limbs of the occupant to restrict and protect the shoulders and upper limbs of the occupant.

[0114] In the region of the pair of side chambers 70 , the outer panel 42 may have a length longer than a horizontal length of the inner panel 41 , so that when the pair of side chambers 70 are deployed, the outer panel 42 surrounds the shoulders and upper limbs of the occupant.

[0115] Therefore, when viewed from above, the main chamber 50 and the pair of side chambers 70 may be inflated and expanded inwardly in a substantially semicircular or arc shape so that the rear surface and the side surface of the occupant's upper body are completely surrounded.

[0116] Also, a plurality of tethers (not shown) that restrict a deployment shape of each of the chambers 50 to 70 provided in the airbag cushion 40 may be installed between the inner panel 41 and the outer panel 42 .

[0117] For example, one or more tethers defining the expanded shape of each side chamber 70 may be mounted inside or outside the pair of side chambers 70 such that each side chamber 70 is inflated and expanded while rotating toward the occupant relative to the portion of the side chamber 70 connected to the main chamber 50.

[0118] Both ends of the tether member may be connected to outer ends of the main chamber 50 and the side chamber 70 .

[0119] The present invention is not limited thereto, and the number of tethers, installation positions, lengths, and widths of the tethers may vary.

[0120] Additionally, the present invention may provide different horizontal and vertical lengths for the inner and outer panels and, in addition to applying the tether, may also vary the configuration to define the expanded shape of each chamber by forming various seam patterns along the edges and interior of each chamber.

[0121] As described above, according to the present invention, by compensating the space between the occupant and the front airbag device and reducing the space when the vehicle collides, the occupant can be safely protected.

[0122] In addition, according to the present invention, the impact generated when the occupant is rebounded by the front airbag inflated and deployed in front of the occupant and collides with a seat can be effectively absorbed to safely protect the occupant.

[0123] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the top surface and both sides of the occupant's head may be confined by the upper chamber, which is inflated around the occupant's head to safely protect the occupant.

[0124] Next, we will refer to Fig.11 A method of operating an airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.

[0125] Fig.11 2 is an operation state diagram showing an operation state of an airbag apparatus for a vehicle according to a second embodiment of the present invention.

[0126] First, based on Figure 7 In the deployed state shown in FIG. 1 , the airbag cushion 40 is manufactured into a bag shape by sewing edges and the inner panel 41 and the outer panel 42 are arranged to overlap each other.

[0127] The manufactured airbag cushion 40 may be accommodated in the housing 20 in a folded state using various rolling or folding methods to minimize the volume, and may be mounted in the seat back 11 , for example, on an upper front surface of the seat back 11 .

[0128] When a collision occurs during vehicle operation, the airbag cushion 40 may be inflated and deployed downward from the cover of the seatback 11 by receiving the gas from the inflator 30 .

[0129] That is, the main chamber 50 can be inflated and expanded in front of the backrest 11 , and each of the upper chamber 60 and the pair of side chambers 70 receives the gas through the main chamber 50 and is inflated and expanded at the top and both sides of the main chamber 50 .

[0130] Here, the upper chamber 60 and the pair of side chambers 70 are rotated downward and inward toward the occupant surrounding the main chamber 50 , completely surrounding and confining the occupant.

[0131] For example, the rear surface chamber 61 of the upper chamber 60 may be inflated and expanded between the occupant's head and the headrest 12 to absorb impact applied when the occupant's head collides with the headrest 12 due to a collision.

[0132] Similarly, the top surface chamber 62 and the pair of side surface chambers 63 of the upper chamber 60 can be inflated and expanded downward along the top surface and the two side surfaces of the occupant's head, respectively. Therefore, the upper chamber 60 can not only limit the rear surface of the occupant's head, but also limit the top surface and the two side surfaces of the occupant's head to prevent the occupant's head from moving laterally, thereby effectively protecting the occupant from external impact.

[0133] Likewise, the pair of side chambers 70 may surround and limit the two side surfaces of the occupant's upper body.

[0134] In this way, each of the chambers 50 to 70 provided in the airbag cushion 40 may be inflated and deployed to completely surround and restrict the upper body and head of the occupant, thereby preventing the occupant from lateral movement and ensuring safety.

[0135] In the case of a frontal collision, the passenger moves toward the vehicle. Therefore, after the passenger is first protected by the frontal airbag 80 inflated and deployed in the front, the passenger may rebound backwards due to the pressure of the frontal airbag 80.

[0136] At this time, since the airbag cushion 40 is inflated and deployed between the occupant and the seatback 11 and the headrest 12, the space between the occupant and the seatback 11 and the headrest 12 can be compensated and reduced, thereby minimizing the impact applied to the rebounding occupant.

[0137] In other words, according to the present invention, when the occupant collides with the backrest in a state where the backrest is rotated backward, the airbag cushion can be used to compensate for the space between the occupant and the backrest, minimizing the impact applied when the occupant collides with the backrest.

[0138] As described above, according to the present invention, by compensating the space between the occupant and the front airbag device and reducing the space when the vehicle collides, the occupant can be safely protected.

[0139] In addition, according to the present invention, the impact generated when the occupant is rebounded by the front airbag inflated and deployed in front of the occupant and collides with a seat can be effectively absorbed to safely protect the occupant.

[0140] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the top surface and both sides of the occupant's head may be confined by the upper chamber, which is inflated around the occupant's head to safely protect the occupant.

[0141] Although the present invention made by the inventors of the present application has been specifically described based on the above-mentioned embodiments, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments and can be modified in various ways within the scope of the technical spirit of the present disclosure.
