Abstract
Description
[0001] HIGH-PRESSURE CLEANING DEVICE
[0002] The invention relates to a high-pressure cleaning device comprising a housing and a motor pump unit arranged in the housing with a motor and a pump driven by the motor.
[0003] By means of such a high-pressure cleaning device, a cleaning liquid, preferably water, can be pressurized and then directed onto an object to be cleaned, for example by means of a spray gun or a jet pipe.
[0004] The high-pressure cleaning device comprises a housing in which a motor-pump unit with a motor and a motor-driven pump is arranged. An electric motor is preferably used.
[0005] High-pressure cleaning devices often have an accessory holder for an accessory. This accessory can be, for example, a spray gun or a jet pipe. Such a high-pressure cleaning device is known, for example, from WO 2012 / 119642 A1.
[0006] The object of the present invention is to further develop a high-pressure cleaning device of the type mentioned above in such a way that its handling is simplified.
[0007] This object is achieved according to the invention in a high-pressure cleaning device of the generic type in that the high-pressure cleaning device has a plurality of interfaces which can be detachably connected to an attachment, wherein two interfaces are assigned to one another and arranged on one side of the high-pressure cleaning device, wherein the assigned interfaces can be detachably connected either together with an attachment or individually with an attachment each. An accessory or tool holder or even a cover can be used as an attachment, for example. The accessory holder can be designed, for example, as a holder for a dispensing device for pressurized cleaning fluid, in particular as a nozzle holder, spray gun holder, jet pipe holder or hose reel holder. A housing section including an interface can be covered by means of the cover. In addition, a cable or hose holder can be used as an attachment.
[0008] The high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention has several interfaces that can be detachably connected to an attachment, in particular to an accessory or tool holder or a cover. The provision of several interfaces makes it possible to attach attachments to the high-pressure cleaning device at various locations depending on the desired configuration.
[0009] According to the invention, two mutually associated interfaces are arranged on one side of the high-pressure cleaning device, which can be detachably connected either together with an attachment or individually with an attachment each. This simplifies handling of the high-pressure cleaning device because the user has the option of connecting either an individual attachment to one of the associated interfaces, depending on their individual needs and taking into account the specific intended use of the high-pressure cleaning device. Alternatively, they can also connect the two associated interfaces together with one attachment. Connecting an attachment to two associated interfaces is advantageous if the attachment exerts a high mechanical load on the high-pressure cleaning device. This can be the case, for example, with an attachment in the form of a hose reel holder, on which a hose reel for winding up a pressure hose can be held. Such an attachment exerts considerable stress on the high-pressure cleaning device, so it is advantageous if such an attachment can be detachably connected to two associated interfaces at the same time. If no such attachment is used, the associated interfaces can each be detachably connected individually to an attachment. This provides the user with a great deal of variability in attaching attachments to the high-pressure cleaning device, which makes handling the device easier.
[0010] It is advantageous if the associated interfaces are located on the rear of the high-pressure cleaning device. This allows the user to either connect two separate attachments to one interface each on the rear of the high-pressure cleaning device, or to connect one attachment to both interfaces.
[0011] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the associated interfaces are identical or functionally equivalent. This has the advantage that an attachment can be connected to the high-pressure cleaning device selectively at one of the associated interfaces and thus selectively at at least two different locations. The positioning of an attachment, in particular the positioning of an accessory holder, can thus be easily adapted to the individual needs of a user. For example, when positioning an accessory holder, such as a spray gun holder or a jet lance holder, a right-handed person can select one of the two associated interfaces, whereas a left-handed person can select the other of the two associated interfaces.
[0012] It is advantageous if the associated interfaces are aligned in alignment with one another. This has been shown to further simplify handling of the high-pressure cleaning device. For example, the associated interfaces can each have a recess with a longitudinal axis, with the longitudinal axes of the recesses aligned in alignment with one another. Preferably, the longitudinal axes of the recesses are aligned perpendicular to a longitudinal center plane of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0013] It is advantageous if the interfaces assigned to one another are arranged mirror-symmetrically to a longitudinal center plane of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0014] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the high-pressure cleaning device comprises a handle part that forms a grip and has a connecting body that can be releasably connected to the housing of the high-pressure cleaning device, wherein the mutually associated interfaces are arranged on the connecting body. In such a configuration, the handle part not only has a handle that can be grasped by the user, but also has two interfaces that are associated with each other and allow the user to optionally connect an attachment to one of the interfaces or to connect an attachment to both interfaces.
[0015] Preferably, the connecting body of the handle can be locked and / or screwed to the housing. This allows for particularly simple installation of the handle on the housing of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0016] The connecting body is preferably detachably connectable to a rear wall of the housing.
[0017] In a particularly mechanically resilient design, the handle part has at least two longitudinal struts by means of which the handle is rigidly connected to the connecting body.
[0018] In addition to the two interfaces, which are assigned to one another and can be releasably connected either jointly to an attachment or individually to an attachment, the high-pressure cleaning device in a preferred embodiment has two interfaces, each located on a side wall of the housing and each releasably connected to an attachment. This increases the variability of the high-pressure cleaning device's equipment, since attachments can be arranged not only at the assigned interfaces but also at two interfaces, each positioned on a side wall of the housing.
[0019] It is advantageous if the housing has a first side wall and a second side wall opposite the first side wall, with at least one interface being arranged on each of the side walls, which interface can be releasably connected to an attachment. This gives the user the option of selectively selecting either the first side wall or the second side wall of the housing opposite the first side wall, for example, for positioning a specific accessory holder.
[0020] The interfaces arranged on the side walls are advantageously identical or functionally equivalent.
[0021] It is advantageous if the interfaces arranged on the first side wall and on the second side wall are arranged mirror-symmetrically to one another with respect to a longitudinal center plane of the high-pressure cleaning device.
[0022] To increase the variability of the high-pressure cleaning device's equipment, in one advantageous embodiment of the invention, the housing has a ceiling wall on which at least one interface is arranged, which can be releasably connected to an attachment. Such a design makes it possible to arrange at least one attachment on the ceiling wall if necessary, for example, a cover or an accessory or tool holder.
[0023] In particular, it can be provided that two mutually associated interfaces are arranged on the ceiling wall of the housing. This makes it possible, for example, to attach a hose reel holder to the ceiling wall, which can be releasably connected to both interfaces. The interfaces, which can be releasably connected to an attachment, advantageously each form a recess into which a connecting element of an attachment can be inserted. The connecting element can be designed, for example, in the form of a support foot.In this case, it can be provided that several attachments are attached to the high-pressure cleaning device, in particular several accessory holders for different accessories, wherein the attachments have connecting links that are identical or have the same function, so that the attachments can each be inserted into the recess of an interface due to their identical or functionally equivalent connecting links, regardless of their other design.
[0024] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the recess of the interfaces has a bottom wall which extends from a rear wall of the recess to a first access opening of the recess opposite the rear wall, and from which two opposing side walls protrude, which extend from the bottom wall to a second access opening of the recess opposite the bottom wall, wherein the second access opening adjoins the first access opening. A connecting element of an add-on part, in particular a connecting element of an accessory holder or a cover, can be inserted into the recess via the first access opening, wherein the connecting element can be placed against the bottom wall and protrudes from the recess via the second access opening adjoining the first access opening and opposite the bottom wall.
[0025] It is advantageous if opposing recesses are formed in the side walls of the recess, which open into the first access opening. If a connecting link of an add-on part is inserted into the recess via the access opening, then opposing projections of the connecting link can engage the opposing recesses of the recess. This increases the mechanical stability of the connecting link in the recess. In particular, it can be provided that the projections of the connecting link each form a positive connection with a recess.
[0026] A retaining device adapted to a specific accessory can be connected to the connecting link of an attachment, which is designed in the form of an accessory holder. The retaining device can be designed, for example, in the form of a hook for attaching an electrical cable or a hose, or, for example, in the form of a sleeve or holster into which a spray gun can be inserted, or, for example, in the form of one or more elastically expandable retaining clips into which a spray pipe can be clipped. Alternatively, a cover panel can be connected to the connecting link of an attachment.
[0027] Preferably, the recess of the interfaces has a receptacle arranged on the rear wall of the recess. A front end portion of the connecting link, relative to an insertion direction of the support foot, can be inserted into the receptacle. This enables a particularly mechanically resilient connection between the connecting link and the recess of the interface.
[0028] Advantageously, the front end section of the connecting link forms a positive connection with the receptacle.
[0029] It is particularly advantageous if the interfaces have a mounting gap that is aligned parallel to a longitudinal axis of the recess and into which a self-tapping connecting screw can be screwed. Using the connecting screw, an attachment, in particular an accessory holder, can be screwed to an interface. The interfaces, in particular their recesses, are insensitive to manufacturing tolerances due to the screw connection. Providing the mounting gap aligned parallel to the longitudinal axis of the recess also facilitates the manufacture of the interfaces, since demolding of the interfaces is only required in one direction.
[0030] To form the mounting gap, the interfaces preferably have two rib-like projections that are aligned parallel to the longitudinal axis of the recess and form the mounting gap between them.
[0031] The following description of an advantageous embodiment of the invention serves to explain it in more detail in conjunction with the drawings. They show:

[0043] Figure 13: a sectional view of the high-pressure cleaning device along the line 13-13 of Figure 12.
[0044] The drawing schematically illustrates an advantageous embodiment of a high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention, designated overall by reference numeral 10. The high-pressure cleaning device 10 comprises a housing 12 in which a motor-pump unit 14, shown in Figures 9, 11, and 13, is arranged. The motor-pump unit 14 typically comprises an electric motor and a pump driven by the electric motor. A cleaning fluid, preferably water, can be pressurized by means of the pump. The cleaning fluid can then be directed onto an object to be cleaned using a discharge device, for example a spray gun or a jet pipe.
[0045] The housing 12 has a front wall 16 and a rear wall 18, as well as a first side wall 20, a second side wall 22, a top wall 24 and a bottom wall 26. The housing 12 comprises a first plastic molded part which forms a hood-like front housing half-shell 28, and a second plastic molded part which forms a trough-like rear housing half-shell 30.
[0046] Adjacent to the bottom wall, two impellers 29, 31 are mounted on the rear housing half-shell 30 so as to be rotatable about a common axis of rotation 36.
[0047] The high-pressure cleaning device 10 has a handle 38 that can be releasably connected to the rear wall 18. In the illustrated embodiment, the handle 38 can be screwed to the rear wall.
[0048] The handle part 38 has a handle 40, which can be grasped by the user and is rigidly connected via two longitudinal struts 42, 44 to a connecting body 46, which is screwed to the rear wall 18. On its side facing the rear wall 18, the connecting body 46 has two spaced-apart bearing blocks 48, 50, which each engage a recess 52 or 54 of the rear wall 18, forming a positive fit. This is particularly evident in Figures 11 and 13.
[0049] A supply connection 56 is arranged on the rear wall 18, to which a supply line, in particular a supply hose, can be connected in order to supply the pressurized cleaning fluid to the pump. A pressure connection 58 is arranged on the front wall 16, to which a pressure line, in particular a pressure hose, can be connected. Pressurized cleaning fluid can be delivered by the pump via the pressure line. A dispensing device, for example a spray gun or a jet pipe, can be connected to the free end of the pressure line for dispensing the pressurized cleaning fluid. Such dispensing devices form accessories of the high-pressure cleaning device 10.
[0050] A rotary switch 60 is arranged on the front wall 16 for switching the motor pump unit 14 on and off.
[0051] The two side walls 20, 22 of the housing 10 lie opposite one another. A first interface 62 is arranged on the first side wall 20 and can be detachably connected to an attachment explained in more detail below, for example an accessory holder. An accessory, for example a dispensing device, in particular a spray gun or a jet pipe, can be held on the accessory holder. An identically designed second interface 64 is arranged on the second side wall 22 of the housing 12. The first interface 62 is integrated into the first side wall 20, and the second interface 64 is integrated into the second side wall 22. With respect to a longitudinal center plane 65 of the high-pressure cleaning device 10, the two interfaces 62, 64 are arranged mirror-symmetrically to one another.
[0052] The first interface 62 is shown enlarged in Figures 2, 3, and 4 and is explained in more detail below. The explanations also apply equally to the second interface 64.
[0053] The first interface 62 has a groove-like recess 66 into which a connecting link of an add-on part, explained in more detail below, can be inserted. The recess 66 has a first access opening 68 facing the front wall 16 of the housing 12, which is adjoined by a second access opening 70 facing away from the first side wall 20. A bottom wall 72 of the recess 66 extends from a recess rear wall 74, which is opposite the first access opening 68, to the first access opening 68. Two opposite recess side walls 76, 78 extend from the bottom wall 72 to the second access opening 70. The recess side walls 76, 78 each have a recess 80, 82 that opens into the first access opening 68.
[0054] Arranged on the recess rear wall 74 is a receptacle 84 configured in the manner of a pocket and defined by an end portion 86 of the bottom wall 72, a lower portion 88 of the recess rear wall 74 adjoining the end portion 86, an intermediate wall 90 oriented substantially parallel to the end portion 86, and two opposing side wall end portions of the recess side walls 76, 78. A guide rib 96 is formed on each of the side wall end portions. This is particularly evident in Figure 4.
[0055] The intermediate wall 90 carries on its upper side facing away from the receptacle 84 two rib-like projections 98, 100 which are aligned parallel to a longitudinal axis 102 of the recess 66 and form a mounting gap 99 between them.
[0056] As already mentioned, the first interface 62, like the second interface 64, enables an attachment to be releasably attached to the housing 12 of the high-pressure cleaning device 10. An accessory holder or a cover, for example, can be used as an attachment. For example, an accessory holder in the form of a jet pipe holder 104 can be connected to the first interface 62, and a spray gun holder 106, for example, can be connected to the second interface 64. This is illustrated schematically in Figures 8 and 9.
[0057] The jet pipe holder 104 has a connecting member in the form of a support foot 108, which can be inserted into the recess 66 via the first access opening 68 in the direction of the longitudinal axis 102, sliding along the bottom wall 72 of the recess 66 and engaging with a front end portion 110 in the insertion direction in a form-fitting manner in the receptacle 84 of the recess 66. The front end portion 110 has two opposing guide grooves (not shown in the drawing), each of which positively receives one of the guide ribs 96 of the receptacle 84. When the support foot 108 is inserted into the recess 66, opposite support foot projections each engage a recess 80, 82 of the recess 66 and form a form-fitting engagement with the recess 80 and 82, respectively. To provide a better overview, the support foot projections are not shown in the drawing.
[0058] Above the front end section 110, the support foot 108 has a support arm 112 which has a through-bore 114 and which comes to rest with a free end section on a housing section 116 of the housing 12 adjoining the recess 66.
[0059] After inserting the support foot 108 into the recess 66, the jet pipe holder 104 can be screwed to the first interface 62. For this purpose, a self-tapping connecting screw (not shown in the drawing) can be screwed through the through-hole 114 of the support arm 112 into the mounting gap 99 formed between the two projections 98, 100 of the first interface 62. Since the mounting gap 99 extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis 102 and thus parallel to the insertion direction of the support foot 108, manufacturing tolerances of the support foot 108 and the recess 66 can practically not affect the screw connection between the first interface 62 and the jet pipe holder 104.
[0060] Adjacent to the support foot 108 is a holding device 120 of the jet pipe holder 104. The holding device 120 forms two elastically deformable holding clips 122, 124, into each of which an accessory in the form of a jet pipe can be clipped. The spray gun holder 106 has a connecting link in the form of a support foot 128, which is identical in design to the support foot 108 of the jet pipe holder 104. Adjacent to the support foot 128 is a holding device 130, which is designed in the form of a sleeve 132. An accessory in the form of a spray gun can be inserted into the sleeve 132.
[0061] Since the interfaces 62, 64 are identically designed and since the support feet 108, 128 are also identically designed, the jet pipe holder 104 and the spray gun holder 106 can be inserted either into the recess 66 of the first interface 62 or into the recess 66 of the second interface 64. The user has the option of selecting which of the two interfaces 62, 64 is to be used for attaching the jet pipe holder 104 and which is to be used for attaching the spray gun holder 106 to the housing 12.
[0062] A third interface 134 is arranged on the ceiling wall 24 of the housing 12. The third interface 134 is identical or at least functionally equivalent to the first interface 62 and the second interface 64. Using the third interface 134, an attachment can also be arranged on the housing 12 and detachably connected thereto. For example, an accessory holder or a cover 136 can be used as an attachment. The cover 136 has a connecting part (not shown in the drawing) in the form of a support foot, which is identical or at least functionally equivalent to the support feet 108 and 128.The support foot of the cover 136 can be inserted into a recess 138 of the third interface 134, forming a positive connection with opposing lateral recesses of the recess 138 and with a receptacle of the recess 138 in the same way as was explained above using the example of the support foot 108 and the recesses 80, 82 and the receptacle 84 of the recess 66. In addition to the support foot, the cover 136 has a cover wall 140, which rests against the top wall 24 of the housing 12 outside the recess of the third interface 134.
[0063] The third interface 134 can be covered by the cover wall 140. This allows, for example, damage to the third interface 134 to be avoided if the third interface 134 is not intended to be used for connecting to an accessory holder.
[0064] A fourth interface 142 and a fifth interface 144 are arranged on the outer side of the connecting body 46 of the handle part 38 facing away from the rear wall 18. This is clear, for example, from Figure 6. The fourth interface 142 is configured identically to the fifth interface 144 and differs only slightly from the first interface 62 and the second interface 64, i.e., the fourth interface 142 and the fifth interface 144 are configured to be functionally identical to the first interface 62 and the second interface 64. With respect to the longitudinal center plane 65 of the high-pressure cleaning device 10, the interfaces 142, 144 are arranged mirror-symmetrically to one another. The longitudinal axes of the interfaces 142, 144 are aligned with one another.
[0065] The fourth interface 142 has a recess 143, and the fifth interface 144 has a recess 145. The recesses 143 and 145 are largely identical in design to the recess 66, which was explained in detail above with reference to the first interface 62. However, the recesses 143 and 145 each have a bottom wall 146 and 148, respectively, which has a through-bore 150 and a blind bore 152. This is particularly evident in Figures 11 and 13.
[0066] The fourth interface 142 and the fifth interface 144 can each be detachably connected to an attachment in the same way as the above-described interfaces 62, 64, and 134. However, the fourth interface 142 and the fifth interface 144 can also be detachably connected together to an attachment and are thus assigned to each other for joint connection to the attachment. Such an attachment can be designed, for example, in the form of a hose reel holder 154.
[0067] The hose reel holder 154 can be detachably connected to the fourth interface 142 and the fifth interface 144. The hose reel holder 154 is shown schematically in Figures 10 and 11. It has a cylindrical bearing body 156 onto which a hose reel (not shown in the drawing but known per se) can be placed. The bearing body 156 is integrally connected to a first connecting member 158 and a second connecting member 160 of the hose reel holder 154. The two connecting members 158, 160 are identically designed and can be inserted into the recesses 143, 145 of the fourth interface 142 and the fifth interface 144. For this purpose, the connecting members 158, 160 are designed similarly to the support feet 108 and 128 explained above. The connecting links 158, 160 differ from the support feet 108, 128 in that they neither extend into lateral recesses nor into a receptacle of the recesses 143, 145. This allows the connecting links 158, 160 to be inserted into the recesses 143, 145 of the interfaces 142, 144 essentially perpendicular to the base wall 146 and 148, respectively.
[0068] The connecting links 158, 160 each have a stepped through-channel 162 or 164, respectively, which can be aligned with the blind bore 152 of the base wall 146 or 148, respectively, so that a connecting screw (not shown in the drawing) can be screwed through the through-channel 162 or 164 into a blind bore 152. The mutually associated interfaces 142 and 144 thus jointly enable the hose reel holder 154 to be screwed to the connecting body 46 of the handle 40. The connecting body 46 can be screwed to the rear wall 18 of the housing 12. For this purpose, the rear wall 18 has two screw bosses 166, 168 on its inner side facing the motor pump unit 14.The screw domes 166, 168 are each aligned with the through-hole 150 of the bottom wall 146 or 148 of the interfaces 142, 144, so that self-tapping connecting screws can be screwed through the through-hole 150 of the bottom wall 146 or 148 into a screw dome 166, 168.
[0069] Instead of jointly forming a detachable connection with the hose reel holder 154, the mutually associated fourth and fifth interfaces 142, 144 can each also individually form a detachable connection with an attachment. For example, it can be provided that instead of the hose reel holder 154, a further spray gun holder 170 is detachably connected to one of the interfaces 142, 144. This is shown schematically in Figures 12 and 13. The further spray gun holder 170 is designed identically to the spray gun holder 106 explained above. The further spray gun holder 170 has a support foot 172, which is designed identically to the support foot 128 and which can be inserted, for example, into the fifth interface 144 to form a positive connection and then screwed to the fifth interface 144 using a self-tapping connecting screw.
[0070] The high-pressure cleaning device 10 is characterized by simplified handling, as the user has the option of attaching various attachments, for example one or more holders for dispensing devices for pressurized cleaning fluid, in particular a jet pipe holder, a spray gun holder, and / or a hose reel holder, to the housing 12 according to their individual needs. For this purpose, the high-pressure cleaning device 10 has a plurality of interfaces 62, 64, 134, 142, 144 that are identical or at least functionally equivalent, with two interfaces 142, 144 being arranged on one side of the high-pressure cleaning device 10. These interfaces 142, 144 can be detachably connected either together with an attachment or individually with an attachment.
