According to the heat treatment system and method using superheated steam as the heat transfer carrier, the application range is enlarged. The method comprises the steps that a temperature of an indoor air cavity and relative humidity of the indoor air cavity of the air conditioner in an air mixing mode are obtained; a target condensation temperature corresponding to the relative humidity of the indoor air cavity is determined; and if the temperature of the indoor air cavity is smaller than the target condensation temperature, a compressor is controlled to operate at a reduced frequency and/or a fan of the air conditioner is controlled to operate at an higher speed, so that the temperature of the indoor air cavity is increased. According to the method, corresponding target condensation temperatures can be accurately determined according to the relative humidity of the different indoor air cavities, then the obtained temperature of the indoor air cavities is compared with the obtained target condensation temperature corresponding to the relative humidity, the operation frequency of the compressor and/or the rotating speed of the fan are/is accurately controlled according to the comparison result, then the temperature of the indoor air cavity is larger than the condensation temperature, so that generation of condensate water in the indoor air cavity is avoided or reduced, and meanwhile it can be guaranteed that the fresh air volume and the refrigeration effect are not affected.
