The invention provides a method for detecting sound recording equipment. The method comprises the following steps of 1, playing a preset sound source signal by virtue of playing equipment, recording the section of sound source signal by virtue of the sound recording equipment to be detected, and sampling the sound source signal, wherein the frequency, amplitude and phase of the sound source signal are set values; 2, converting sampled data from the time domain to the frequency domain to obtain the frequency, amplitude and phase of each audio frequency point in the sampled data; 3, comparing the frequency, amplitude and phase of each audio frequency point in the sampled data with the frequency, amplitude and phase of the sound source signal, determining that the sound recording equipment to be detected is qualified if the frequency, amplitude and phase of each audio frequency point in the sampled data are completely consistent with the frequency, amplitude and phase of the sound source signal, and determining that the sound recording equipment to be detected is disqualified if an audio frequency point with inconsistent frequency, amplitude and phase exists. The invention also provides a system for detecting the sound recording equipment. According to the method and the system, the condition of misjudgment of a sound recording interface of the sound recording equipment is avoided, the detection accuracy of the sound recording equipment is higher, a sound recording test is automatically realized, and a test result can be automatically judged and displayed.
