Abstract
The invention relates to a discovery and correlation method of a wireless access controller in a wireless communication network, which comprises the following steps: a) obtaining an IP address list of the wireless access controller according to a preset wireless access controller discovery mode, and using the obtained IP address list as an IP address list of a local wireless access controller; b) extracting a first IP address in the IP address list of the local wireless access controller; c) sending discovery request messages to the extracted IP address; d) extracting a next IP address in the IP address list of the local wireless access controller if a discovery response message is not received in the preset time, and then, returning the step c); otherwise, e) inserting the IP address list of the wireless access controller into the head of the IP address list of the local wireless access controller if the received discovery response message contains the IP address list of the wireless access controller, then, returning the step b), and otherwise, using the wireless access controller sending the discovery response message as a correlation wireless access controller.
