Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the address range of the system memory and the addressing range of the PCI equipment; determining whether the address range of the system memory completely belongs tothe addressing range of the PCI equipment; and executing the following steps when a part of the address range of the system memory exceeds the addressing range of the PCI equipment: constructing the mapping relationship between the PCI equipment and the address of the system memory in the addressing range to achieve communication; setting a memory address forwarding area; and controlling the address of the system memory out of the addressing range of the PCI equipment to communicate with the PCI equipment through the memory address forwarding area. The method solves the problem that the CPU memory address out of the addressing range of the PCI equipment can not be communicated with the PCI equipment because the system memory address is larger than the addressing range of the PCI equipment, thereby providing great convenience for the application of a user.
