Abstract

The invention discloses a real-time charging method and system, wherein the method comprises the following steps: receiving a request for charging a user sent by a service system; predicting the service application amount of a user by using a preinstalled prediction model and the historical application record on services of the user; calculating the amount of an account required by the predicted service application amount and judging whether the current account balance of the user is sufficient or not; and if the current balance is sufficient, freezing the amount of the account required by the predicted service application amount, and returning the predicted service application amount to a service system, thereby being convenient for the service system to control the service for the user according to the predicted service application amount. According to the invention, not only is the user charge ensured to be not overdue, but also the rest part of the account balance of the user can be applied to other services, thus better meeting the charging requirement of a prepayment system.
