Abstract

The backlight module comprises a light guide plate, a pedestal arranged on one side of the light guide plate, a light source arranged on the pedestal and a reflecting element for reflecting light emitted by the light source to the incident light surface of the light guide plate, wherein the reflecting element comprises a first reflecting plane, a reflecting curved surface and a second reflecting plane which are connected in proper order; a ratio of a height of the first reflecting plane to that of the reflecting curved surface is 0.9 to 1.1, and the ratio of the height of the reflecting curved surface to that of the second reflecting plane is 9 to 11.
