Embodiment Construction

[0052] For convenience of description, several abbreviations are introduced in the present invention:

[0053] LSP primary ring-passing point: Under normal circumstances, that is, when no fault occurs, the working LSP passes this point from one ring to another;

[0054] LSP backup loop point: the other intersection point of the two ring intersection points that is not the primary loop point;

[0055] Cross-ring LSP group: A group of LSPs with the same path passing through multiple intersecting rings. This group of LSPs must meet the following conditions:

[0056] This group of LSPs must pass through the same multiple intersecting rings, that is, they all cross rings;

[0057] The paths of this group of LSPs on each intersecting ring must be exactly the same. Such as figure 1 LSP1 and LSP2 in the path are the same, but LSP1 and LSP3 are not.

[0058] Two-way inaccessibility of the ring: That is, between any two nodes on a single ring, no matter along the clockwise path of ...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for protecting looped network and a system for protecting looped network. The method is applicable to a multiple protocol label switching (MPLS) system network for double-node interworking rings. The method comprises the following steps: allocating an operation sub-path maintenance element (SPME) to the LSP (Label Switched Path) on each interworking ring and protecting the SPME, allocating a cross-loop protection SPME opposite to the LSP on the interworking ring in the direction between a ring-in node of a first interworking ring and a ring-out node of a second interworking ring; and enabling the cross-loop protection SPME to carry out business transmission when the ring-in node receives the message that the cross-loop link between the first interworking ring and the second interworking ring goes wrong, and the operation SPME of the first interworking ring is in connectivity fault. Through the invention, the fault protection of the cross-loop links of the double-node interworking rings can be supported.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of MPLS series network services, in particular to a ring network protection method and system. Background technique [0002] Driven by the trend of IP-based telecommunication services, the services carried by the transport network are changing from Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) to IP (Internet Protocol). A packet transmission technology capable of effectively transmitting packet services and providing carrier-level Operations Administration and Maintenance (OAM) and protection. Under this requirement, the industry has proposed the concept of Packet Transport Network (PTN for short), and the Transport Profile for Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS-TP for short) is a PTN technology. [0003] MPLS-TP is based on MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) technology, and enhances some features suitable for transmission, including powerful OAM and good survivability (including linear protection, ring network protection, e...
