Abstract

The invention discloses a method for indicating a message type. The method comprises the following steps that a message type identifier is added in transmitted control plane signaling information; when a network node which receives the control plane signaling information determines that the control plane signaling information contains user plane data according to the message type identifier, the user plane data is transmitted to user equipment, other network nodes or an MTC (machine type communication) server through the control plane signaling information; the user equipment or the MTC server judges whether the control plane signaling information contains the user plane data or not; and when the control plane signaling information contains the user plane data, the user plane data is parsed from the control plane signaling information. The invention additionally provides a system and a device for indicating the message type. By adopting the technical scheme, the problem that the user plane data is lost when the control plane signaling information contains the user plane data can be solved.
