Abstract

The invention provides a method for achieving personalized and automated organization of menus and a mobile terminal, and further provides an algorithm determining the time when the menus are updated. The method comprises the steps that menu items are grouped, and a group of priorities for positions occupied by each group of menu items is defined; when a user uses a mobile phone, the clicked times of the menu items are recorded; a menu tree is generated from bottom to top through a menu organization algorithm according to grouping information of the menus and the clicked times of the menu items; the generated menu tree is displayed to a corresponding priority position of a screen. Because all the menu items are grouped and the menus are limited by grouping when being updated, inconvenience caused by disordered menu item changes can be effectively prevented from being brought to the user, and meanwhile frequently-used menu items can be placed in the positions where the menu items are conveniently operated according to habits of the user. According to the algorithm, automatic updating of the menus of the mobile phone can be achieved without direct participation of the user.
