Embodiment Construction

[0034] The principle and spirit of the present invention will be described below with reference to several exemplary embodiments. It should be understood that these embodiments are given only to enable those skilled in the art to better understand and implement the present invention, rather than to limit the scope of the present invention in any way.

[0035] figure 1 A flowchart of a method for decoding a PDCCH according to various embodiments of the present invention is shown. Such as figure 1 As shown, in block S101, the PDCCH candidate information is pre-calculated.

[0036] In an exemplary embodiment, the pre-calculating the PDCCH candidate information may include pre-calculating the starting CCE index, the number of CCEs and the CCE bitmap of each PDCCH candidate.

[0037] According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, in block S102, OFDM symbols are received.

[0038] In an exemplary embodiment, receiving OFDM symbols may further include storing th...

Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a method and apparatus for decoding a PDCCH. Specifically, the method may include: pre-calculating PDCCH candidate information; receiving an OFDM symbol; reading the REG of the CCE from the received OFDM symbol according to the calculated PDCCH candidate information; demodulating the REG of the CCE; The calculated PDCCH candidate information obtains the CCE data of the PDCCH candidate from the demodulated resource elements of the CCE; and decodes the CCE data of the PDCCH candidate. Correspondingly, an apparatus for decoding the PDCCH is also provided. By using the various embodiments of the present invention, PDCCH candidate information can be pre-processed to improve the efficiency of PDCCH blind detection.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims priority to US Provisional Application No. 61 / 635,464, filed April 19, 2012, the disclosure of which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety. technical field [0003] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to the field of communication technologies, and more specifically, relate to a method and device for decoding a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH). Background technique [0004] Long Term Evolution (LTE) is widely used as a next generation mobile broadband technology. The LTE system transmits downlink control information on the PDCCH, so the PDCCH is very important for user equipment (UE). Each UE has its own search space, which may include a set of PDCCH candidates. The PDCCH candidates may or may not bear the PDCCH, but the UE can know which candidate bears the PDCCH only after decoding all the PDCCH candidates. In other words, the UE has to detect the P...
