By means of the method and the mobile terminal, by adjusting output volume of a device in different background noises, users all can clearly hear audio output of the device under conditions of different volume background noises, and the problem that people around the users can hear sounds in microphones of the users in a silent environment due to too loud sounds in the microphones can be avoided.
