Embodiment

[0048] Such as figure 1 As shown, a fast adaptive loop filtering method based on just perceptible distortion model, including the following steps:

[0049] Step 1: Create a JND model:

Abstract

The invention relates to a fast adaptive loop filter algorithm based on a just noticeable distortion (JND) model, which comprises the steps of establishing a JND model, dividing image frames into a region-of-interest (ROI) and a region-of-non-interest (RONI) by using the JND model, dividing the RONI into a region-of-non-interest smooth region (RONISR) and a region-of-non-interest texture region (RONITR) by using a Canny operator, and dividing the ROI into a region-of-interest smooth region (ROISR) and a region-of-interest texture region (ROITR) by using the Canny operator; and carrying out adaptive filtering. According to the invention, an ALF (adaptive loop filter) method is optimized in allusion to an HEVC (high efficiency video coding) structure by being combined with the pixel-domain JND model and the Canny operator, perceptive redundancy in video is removed, and the coding efficiency is improved; and a region which does not need ALF processing can be found out quickly, and the complexity of the adaptive loop filter algorithm is greatly reduced under the condition of not influencing the quality.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a fast adaptive loop filtering method, in particular to a fast adaptive loop filtering method based on a just perceivable distortion model, and belongs to the technical field of video coding. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of society, a large amount of information is also transmitted to humans, and about 70% of the information extracted by humans comes from vision. Therefore, people's requirements for video quality will be in the first place, because the ultimate purpose of video is to serve the human eye. However, the existing network bandwidth cannot meet the real-time transmission of high-definition video signals. Therefore, video coding and compression technology has a significant impact on the development of video communication. In order to obtain higher compression efficiency and support HD / UHD video compression, the two international standardization organizations ISO / IEC and ITU-T establis...
