The robot of the invention comprises a two-section type vehicle body, camera shooting and detection assemblies arranged at the front and rear parts of the vehicle body, a travelling mechanism arranged at the two sides of the vehicle body and the auxiliary moving mechanism of the travelling mechanism; the camera shooting and detection assemblies comprise two high definition cameras and two sets of brightness variable LED lamps; the travelling mechanism comprises two sets of travelling wheels and a motor driving the travelling wheels to roll; travelling wheel rotating shafts connected with the motor are arranged vertically; the sides of the vertical sections of the travelling wheels are inward concave arc-shaped, therefore the travelling wheels can travel and move by clamping the cable line laid in a conduit; the auxiliary moving mechanism comprises multiple sets of roll balls under the vehicle body and a pushing mechanism which is connected above the protective enclosure of the motor so that the travelling wheels can clamp the cable; a controller is arranged in the vehicle body; and the controller is connected with the travelling mechanism and the camera shooting and detection assemblies.
