Abstract

The invention provides a temperature controlled and moisture kept Chinese alligator eggs incubator which includes a water tank which is provided with an automatic temperature controlled heater therein and an incubation nest on the upper part of the water tank. The incubation nest includes a supporting frame which is covered with a gauze silk net on the inner wall of the supporting frame. The gauze silk net is covered with a granular layer therein. A moisture adjusted layer is disposed between the water tank and the incubation nest, and is perforated with a plurality of moisture adjusted holes thereon. The incubator of the invention can keep the water tank at a constant temperature based on the incubation temperature of alligator eggs through the automatic temperature controlled heater in the water tank, thus providing proper temperature conditions for incubation of the alligator eggs. The incubation nest is covered with a gauze silk layer on the inner wall thereof. The gauze silk net is covered with a granular layer thereon, and cooperates with a supporting frame which is made from a plastic basket, bamboo-woven basket or wooden stripped basket so as to keep moisture and ventilation. The moisture adjusted layer can open or close the moisture adjusted holes and adjust moisture based on different phases of embryonic development.
