Abstract

A registered jack capable of reducing lay damage degree comprises a registered jack body with an inner chamber. The registered jack body is provided with a first end and a second end which face each other. The first end is provided with a metal terminal. The second end is provided with an opening which is communicated with the inner chamber for insertion of a cable into the inner chamber. The opening of the second end is surrounded by a plurality of frames. Each frame is provided with a frame side at the opening and a frame side which is far from the opening, wherein one frame is outwards bent and projects for forming a recessed surface on the frame side which faces the opening and forming a projected surface on the frame side that is deviated from the opening. The invention further provides a communication cable. Through enlarging the cross section of the opening, only one segment of sheath of the cable part which is inserted into the inner chamber is eliminated, and one segment of sheath which is next to the opening is not eliminated, thereby reducing length of the cable of which the lay is damaged, effectively reducing signal crosstalk between two twisted wires and improving network transmission effect.
