Abstract

The invention provides a prompt circuit and a water cup making use of the prompt circuit. The prompt circuit comprises a processor as well as a pressure detection unit and a prompt unit connected to the processor, wherein the pressure detection unit comprises a pressure sensing resistor which is used for detecting water pressure in the water cup and for transmitting a detected result to the processor; and the prompting unit comprises a communication unit and a sound transmitting unit. The processor transmits a first control signal to control the sound transmitting unit to output an alarm sound when the detection result received by the processor is less than a preset value; after the alarm sound is transmitted by the sound transmitting unit, the processor detects that the water pressure in the water cup has no change within a preset time, and the processor transmits a second control signal to the communication unit; and the communication unit transmits a prompt message to a user. The prompt circuit disclosed by the invention can prompt the user to drink water timely, so as to bring benefits to people's health.
