The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a current observation distance from a viewer to a display; according to the current observation distance, adjusting covering width of each optical grid prism unit on a display screen of the display to obtain adjusted covering width; acquiring the quantity of view points in the display unit; and according to the adjusted covering width and the quantity of view points, generating and displaying a final composite image matched with the current observation distance of the viewer.
