Abstract

The invention provides a user prompting method and apparatus based on an intelligent doorbell, the method comprising: detecting whether the intelligent doorbell is triggered by a visitor, determining whether the visitor is a preset user member when the intelligent doorbell is triggered by the visitor, sending, according to the identity of the visitor, to a server a first alert prompt corresponding to a non-preset member and the doorbell identifier of the intelligent doorbell, or a second alert prompt corresponding to the preset user member and the doorbell identifier of the intelligent doorbell; and enabling the server to push the first alert prompt or the second alert prompt to a client bound to the doorbell identifier. The user prompting method and apparatus give different alert prompts according to the identity of the visitor, and provides a special prompt different from that of an ordinary visitor for the preset user member, thereby enhancing the practicality of the intelligent doorbell and providing the user with more user-friendly service.
