Abstract

The invention discloses a mistouch prevention device and method. The method comprises the following steps: when a terminal is in a camera mode, obtaining proximity position parameters of corresponding surfaces through capacitive proximity sensors arranged on the back surface and in two-side frames of the terminal respectively; according to change characteristics of the proximity position parameters generated on the back surface and the two-side frames of the terminal in a time domain, determining a current state mode of the terminal, wherein the state mode comprises a horizontal screen mode and a vertical screen mode; and according to the current state mode of the terminal and a preset enablement mapping table of the state modes and enablement of the capacitive proximity sensors, determining enablement parameters corresponding to the capacitive proximity sensors and entering a mistouch prevention mode. The mistouch prevention device and method detect the horizontal screen mode or the vertical screen mode of the terminal in the camera mode, and then, determine the disablement sensors, so that misoperation caused by sensor mistouch of a user due to wrong holding is no longer caused, and use experience of the users is enhanced.
