Abstract

The invention discloses modified asphalt having rutting resistance under extreme high temperature and heavy load conditions, and a preparation method of the modified asphalt, aiming at providing modified asphalt with good performance, and a preparation method of the modified asphalt. The modified asphalt is prepared from the following materials by weight percent: a material A: 94.4-95.43% of matrix asphalt, a material B: 4.2-5% of a mixed material of a styrene-butadiene-styrene block polymer (SBS) and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), a material C: 0.3-0.5% of a compound crosslinking agent, and a material D: 0.07-0.1% of a compound stabilizer. An asphalt pavement paved by using the modified asphalt can prevent early damage, thus reducing maintenance, prolonging the service life of a road and effectively lowering operating cost; therefore, overall construction, operation and maintenance costs are greatly reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of road traffic construction, in particular to a rutting-resistant modified asphalt under extremely high-temperature and heavy-load conditions and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] The restoration project of the southern section of the Pakistan N5 highway built by China is located in the southeastern part of Pakistan. It is a two-way four-lane asphalt road for mixed traffic. Pakistan's traffic management is relatively open, with no load and weight restrictions, and jogging in Dora is more common. The southern part of Pakistan is tropical and has obvious monsoon climate characteristics. The minimum temperature is around 5°C and the maximum temperature is around 55°C. The high temperature lasts for a long time and the daily temperature difference is small. At 100mm-200mm, the rainy season is short and the rainfall is small. The local asphalt pavement is paved with ordinary matrix as...
