Abstract

The invention discloses a grimacing detection method. The method includes the steps of extracting a plurality of video frames from a face video to be detected; acquiring a face region position, several key point positions of the eyes and several key point positions of the mouth from each extracted video frame; calculating the face region area, the eye area and the mouth area respectively through the face region position, the several key point positions of the eyes and the several key point positions of the mouth; obtaining a measuring fraction by calculating a ratio of the sum of the eye area and the mouth area of each extracted video frame to the face region area; and determining the grimacing condition of the face video to be detected based on the measuring fraction. Correspondingly, the invention also discloses a grimacing detection device. According to the invention, the calculation is simple and the efficiency is high.
