Themethod comprises the following steps of acquiring the license plate information of a vehicle, and acquiring the image information containing the driver information; when the vehicle enters the exit of a parking lot, comparing and judging whether the driver information is consistent or not by the server; if the driver information is consistent, receiving a releasing instruction fed back from the server by the parking lot terminal and releasing the vehicle; otherwise, preventing the vehicle from driving away. According to the invention, the vehicle in the parking lot is prevented from being stolen. Therefore, the parking safety is ensured.
