Abstract

The invention provides a similarity test-based dual-polarimetric SAR (synthetic aperture radar) image coherence speckle filtering method. According to the technical schemes of the invention, similar candidate sample pixel sets are selected, and an unbiased estimator is adopted to filter the similar candidate sample pixel sets. The selection of the similar candidate sample pixel sets includes the following steps that: neighborhoods are selected with each pixel to be filtered in a dual-polarimetric SAR image adopted as a center; similarity parameters between any pixel in each neighborhood and acorresponding pixel to be filtered are calculated; and pixels of which similarity parameters are greater than a preset threshold, in each neighborhood, are selected to form a similar candidate samplepixel set of corresponding pixels to be filtered. With the method adopted, the similar candidate sample pixel set can be adaptively and accurately selected, so the high-performance coherent speckle filtering of the dual-polarimetric SAR image can be realized.
