Problems solved by technology

And so far, the characteristics of feces are mainly used for the initial diagnosis of digestive tract diseases in humans (Duan Caiping, 2014; Li Yongru et al., 2010) and livestock (Teng Lebang, 2010; Wang Guangchi, 2014; Minamida et al., 2015). Qualitative judgment, lack of quantitative standards for grading and assignment, and at the same time, there is no report on wild animals

Abstract

The invention discloses grade evaluation of characters of excrement confined forest musk deers and application of grade evaluation in detecting digestive tract diseases. The invention provides a kit for detecting whether a forest musk deer has digestive tract diseases or not. The kit comprises a substance for detecting excrement shapes, a substance for detecting excrement colors, a substance for detecting excrement smell as well as a carrier, wherein the substance for detecting the excrement color5s is a color comparison card; the color comparison card is a paint film color standard sample card; the substance for detecting excrement colors and the substance for detecting excrement smell are both containers for collecting excrement; the carrier is used for recording score calculation equations and judgment standards of shape evaluation standards, color evaluation standards, smell evaluation standards and forest musk deer samples. The invention aims to research on grade evaluation on shapes, smell and colors of excrement of the forest musk deers, methods for rapidly judging healthy states of digestive tracts of the forest musk deers are studied, and primary diagnosis standards are provided for health management of the forest musk deers.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of biotechnology, and in particular relates to a grade assignment of feces properties of captive forest musk deer and its application in detecting digestive tract diseases. Background technique [0002] The breeding of forest musk deer (Moschus berezovskii) is an important way to alleviate the pressure on wild musk deer resources and meet the demand for raw materials of traditional Chinese medicine musk deer, and it is also the provenance basis for reintroduction (Sheng & Liu, 2007; He, 2014; Yang et al., 2003; Shrestha, 1998; Wang Song et al., 2004). The breeding of forest musk deer in China began in 1958, but it has long suffered from high incidence of diseases and high mortality (Wang Jianlong, 1990; Cheng Shiguo, 1984; Wu Minyao et al., 2011; Meng et al., 2006). At the same time, China’s forest musk deer is still in the family-based and small company-based decentralized breeding stage. In addition, forest musk de...
