The method comprisesthe steps of carrying out (n-1)th-way coding on the video sequence to generate an (n-1)th-way analysis file, and obtaining (n-1)th-way coding information of video frames in the video sequence; obtaining quantization parameters of an nth-way coding bit rate control phase of the video frames; and carrying out the nth-way coding on the video sequence based on the (n-1)th-way analysis file, and correcting the quantization parameters of the nth-way coding bit rate control phase of the video frames according to the (n-1)th-way coding information of the video frames, wherein the n is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the quantization parameters of the current-way coding bit rate control phase of the video frames in the video sequence can be corrected according to the previous-way coding information, so the quality fluctuation of the video sequence can be reduced.
