The PDU comprises a control module and a first optical coupler detection circuit corresponding to each charging path; the first optical coupler detection circuit comprises a first optical coupler and a first current limiting piece connected to the input end of the first optical coupler,and the input end of the first optical coupler detection circuit is connected with the power input end of a corresponding charging gun via first and second relays; and when the first and second relays of the charging path of online addition are detected, the control module controls the first and second relays to open / close under the condition that the corresponding keeps an OFF state, and determines the health states of the first and second relays according to ON / OFF of the first optical coupler.
