Problems solved by technology

On the one hand, compared with uncompressed images, JPEG transforms the signal from the spatial domain to the frequency domain, discarding high-frequency information, and the reduction of image information makes it difficult to use image redundancy for effective reversible information hiding design
On the other hand, prior knowledge about uncompressed images does not consider the impact of quantization and entropy coding in JPEG, and has no reference value for JPEG-based reversible information hiding techniques

Embodiment 1

[0045] figure 1 It is a flow chart of an adaptive reversible information hiding method based on JPEG images in this embodiment, figure 2 For the overall block diagram of the embedding process of this embodiment, refer to figure 1 and figure 2 , the method includes:

[0046] S1 generates multiple histograms according to the quantized discrete cosine transform (Discrete Cosine Transform, DCT) coefficients of the JPEG image.

[0047] The quantized DCT coefficients are divided into DC coefficients (Direct current coefficients, DC) and AC coefficients (Alternating current coefficients, AC), and the obtained JPEG image quantized DCT coefficients are divided into multiple 8×8 sub-blocks, according to The Z-type scanning sequentially counts the first multiple AC coefficients of each sub-block, and correspondingly generates multiple histograms. The first plurality of AC coefficients here are the low-IF region of the sub-block. Usually, the quantization step size corresponding to...

Embodiment 2

[0091] This embodiment is a simulation example of an adaptive reversible information hiding method based on a JPEG image. Adopt the self-adaptive reversible information hiding method based on JPEG image of the present invention to obtain following result:

Abstract

The invention provides a self-adaptive reversible information hiding method based on a JPEG image, and the method comprises the steps: generating a plurality of histograms according to discrete cosinetransform coefficients after the JPEG image is quantized; determining an optimal modification parameter of each histogram in the plurality of histograms; and according to the optimal modification parameter, modifying the DCT coefficient corresponding to each histogram, and embedding the information and the DCT coefficients into the carrier image to obtain the marked JPEG image. By adopting the method provided by the invention, the visual quality and the embedding capacity of the carrier can be improved while the size of the JPEG file is not increased as much as possible.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of information security, in particular to an adaptive reversible information hiding method based on JPEG images. Background technique [0002] With the wide application of digital multimedia technology and the popularization of the Internet, people can not only download and copy digital media information through the network conveniently, but also modify the original data content with powerful multimedia tools. Therefore, a series of potential information security problems such as copyright protection, information integrity certification, authenticity certification and unauthorized copying have been brought about. Currently, there are many ways to help keep information safe from attacks and reduce the risk of information being exposed to unauthorized persons. Among them, an important method is information hiding, which uses the redundancy of digital media information to pre-embed some secret information into...
