time difference between reference signal and feedback signal to obtain second phase detection signal, TDC selection unit selects first phase detection signal or second phase detection signal to obtain
third phase detection signal, and the
third phase detection signal is used to determine the
frequency difference information of phase-locked loop.Through TDC selection unit,
dynamic switching is made between two TDCs, when one TDC has overflow, the phase detection signal output by the other TDC is selected to generate
frequency difference information, and the
wrong frequency difference feedback of overflow TDC is discarded, the phase detection operation without overflow is realized, and the problem of the deterioration of sweep frequency difference caused by
phase detector overflow is solved.
