The support-free 3D printing method at least includes the following steps that a light-sensitive material is unfolded to form a material film layer with the uniform thickness, the material film layer is exposed through a light source according to a slice pattern, and printing of a first layer of a 3D model is completed; the non-exposed part of the material film layer serves as the starting layer for printing of a second layer of the 3D model, and the second layer of the 3D model is printed according to the same printing method of thefirst layer; the non-exposed part of the material film layer during printing of the second layer serves as the starting layer for printing of a third layer of the 3D model, and the third layer of the3D model is printed according to the same printing method of the second layer; and the cycle is repeated in this way until the 3D model is printed. According to the 3D printing method, the gel state of the light-sensitive material is used as a support, addition of a support is not needed, printing difficulty is greatly lowered, and the success rate is improved. As no support is added, detachment of a support is not needed, and a printed part is more beautiful.
