This invention discloses a large-tapered anti-backlash
tailstock adapted to a four-axis rotary table, specifically relating to the field of
tailstock technology. It includes a base with a positioning and locking
assembly. The positioning and locking
assembly includes a central inner liner plate located in the middle of the base, with a mounting cavity in the center of the inner liner plate. An axially adjustable crossbar is inserted into the mounting cavity. This invention employs a dual-redundant structure of hydraulic and mechanical locking to fundamentally prevent the
tailstock from backing up under force. The locking force is uniform and sufficiently rigid, achieving zero
axial displacement positioning of the tailstock rod, thus laying a
solid foundation for
machining accuracy. Simultaneously, the dual locking, combined with a two-stage adjustment mechanism of coarse and fine axial adjustment, allows for deep
synergy between adjustment and locking functions. Once adjusted to the correct position, the tailstock is quickly locked, improving positioning accuracy and making the anti-backlash effect more stable.
