Abstract

The invention discloses a mass spectrometer multi-channel ion source, which comprises a sample ionization area composed of a high-voltage power supply, a plurality of nozzles and a sample pan as well as at least two channels; a first channel consists of a first capillary tube and a discharge electrode arranged in the first capillary tube and a second channel consists of a sheath gas capillary tube and a sample nozzle arranged in the sheath gas capillary tube; the sample flow emitted out from the second channel collides with the reagent ions emitted out from the first channel so as to form the sample ions or the reagent ions emitted out from the first channel collide with the sample in the sample pan so as to ionize the sample and the ionized sample is led into the inlet capillary tube of the mass spectrometer. The multi-channel ion source of the invention can be connected with the common mass spectrometers such as LCQ, LTQ, TSQ, etc., to ensure that the functions of the common mass spectrometer are upgraded and strengthened so as to realize the quick and sensitive measurement of the mass spectrometry analysis method applied to the gas, liquid, solid and colloidal samples, and can be used for the in-situ, real-time, online and non-destructive analysis in the industry or environmental process.
