The invention discloses a dynamic resource reservation and access control method and device of wide-band wireless access system, wherein the method includes: reserving predetermined extra bandwidth for each real-time variable rated service besides minimum guaranteed bandwidth, getting preserved bandwidth for real-time service according to summing extra bandwidth of all real-time variable rated service; setting reserved bandwidth for switching service which could ensure access ratio of switching service; acquiring global reserved bandwidth of the system based on predetermined rule according to reserved bandwidth of real-time service and switching service. The invention can perfectly satisfy bandwidth need of real-time service, ensure quality of service, satisfy IEEE802.16e system's support to mobility, greatly enhance access ratio of switching service, and ensures persistence and accessibility of service connection during switching process.
