Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving the distribution of network information resources and a system thereof, and aims to solve the problem that the network resources are not fully used in the distribution way of information resource at present, thereby causing low distribution rate and utilization rate of the information resources. The method comprises the following steps: the utilization rate of the information resources is computed for virtual sites, at which the information resources are issued; according to the utilization rate, the corresponding probability of obtaining priority is distributed for each virtual site; a virtual site is selected at random by utilizing the probability of obtaining priority and by adopting a verifiable random sequence generation method; the priority is distributed for the selected virtual site; and information resources are issued at the virtual sites with the information resources being not issued, according to the priority. In the overall process, more sites can be attracted to issue information resources, so as to expand the distribution of the information resources and improve the utilization rate of the information resources at each virtual site. For the application of the information resources as network advertisement, a large quantity of small-flow virtual sites can be effectively collected, and the advertisement value in the virtual sites can be developed.
