Abstract
The invention relates to a bandwidth allocation method for scalable video streaming in a multi-overlay network based on auction. The invention realizes the optimization of the multi-coverage network band width allocation by the method comprising the following steps: 1, the band width allocation optimization problems of the multi-coverage network is converted into band width allocation optimization problems of a series of monolayer overlay networks, thereby reducing the computational complexity and is convenient to realize by utilizing a distributed arithmetic; 2, double auction among nodes isadopted, namely on one hand the node sales own uplink bandwidth to the other nodes, on the other hand purchases bandwidth from other nodes, thereby solving the problem of bandwidth collision of the nodes in the multi-overlay network; and 3, a self-adapting layer joining/exiting algorithm is provided so as to ensure that the node can carry out the bandwidth sale and auction and select the number of the overlay network layers to be joined according to the network condition in real time at the same time, thereby avoiding the waste of the bandwidth.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to an auction-based bandwidth allocation method for scalable video streams in a multi-coverage network, including the construction of a multi-coverage network, the establishment of a bandwidth auction model between nodes, and a bandwidth resource allocation strategy. Background technique [0002] Scalable Video Coding (SVC, Scalable Video Coding) is a video coding standard based on H.264 / AVC developed by the JVT / MPEG organization. The general video coding technology only includes a single-layer code stream in the output code stream, which must be completely transmitted during the video transmission process, otherwise the receiving end cannot decode correctly. Scalable video coding can generate one or more layers of sub-code streams through one encoding, and these sub-code streams can provide a set of code streams with different video qualities and resolutions through a combination of certain dependencies. Scalable video coding te...
